Miss Lena Board died at 6:25 a.m. Wednesday, March 30 in her home in Dallas.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Wilkerson-Hatch Chapel in Waco. Dr. Erwin F. Bohmfalk and Rev. Alfred M. Astroth officiated. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
Many ex-students of West High School will remember Miss Lena and Miss Ethel Board who taught in West years ago.
Survivors are: four sisters, Mrs. L.A. Davis of Mooreville, Ill., Mrs. C.F. Strodel of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Helen Bachmann and Miss Ethel Board of Dallas.
Pallbearers were her nephews.
