Mother Of Yarnell Woman Dies Sunday
Funeral services were held in Mesa Tuesday for Mrs. Iva P. Dewees, 76, of Chandler, mother of Mrs. Myrtle Darnell of Yarnell. Mrs. Dewees died in Williams Sunday.
Born in Grapeland, Texas, Mrs. Dewees moved to Flagstaff in 1940 and to Chandler in 1956. Another daughter, Mrs. Iva Hayes of Chandler, and a son William Dewees of Flagstaff survive.

MESA--Funeral services for Mrs. Iva P. Dewees, 76, will be at 2 p.m. today in the Garden Chapel of the M. L. Gibbons Mortuary here.
The Rev. Bernard R. Weetman, of Chandler, will officiate.
Mrs. Dewees, a Chandler resident since 1954, died in Williams Sunday. Her Chandler home was at 528 W. Flint.
Born in Grapeland, Tex., she went to Flagstaff from Fort Worth, Tex., in 1940, then moved to Chandler, where her husband, Robert L. Dewees, died in 1956. She was a member of the Chandler Community Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Iva Hayes, Chandler, and Mrs. Myrtle Darnell, Yarnell; a son, William, Flagstaff; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
