Private Bost was born in Caddo Mills, Hunt County, December 31, 1918. He moved with his family to Rockwall in 1929 and attended grammar and high school there. In 1940, he moved to Dallas and worked for Mosher Steel Company until he entered the Army in 1942.
Surviving are his wife and a son, Leslie Richard Bost, both of 4333 Hopkins, Dallas; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Bost of Rockwall; a brother, Horace W. Bost who is stationed with the Air Force at Wichita Falls; and five sisters, Miss Eunice Bost of Dallas, Mrs. Buck Jones of Houston, and Mrs. Dorthy Jones, Mrs. Elbert Graem, and Miss Shirley Bost, all of Rockwall.
