LOCAL PEOPLE FIGURE
IN AWFUL ACCIDENT
Local people people figured in a most distressing accident this week. Florion Morrison left here in his car on Wednesday en route to Salt Lake City, accompanied by his
mother, his sister, Miss Cleo, Mrs. Morrison's mother, Mrs. Kearsley of Salt Lake City and John C. Hobson of Ogden. They reached Springville in the afternoon and were traveling at a moderate speed. A small boy, the son of S. P. Strong of that city, alighted from a wagon in the road, just in front of the auto and in less time than it repaires to tell it, the car passed over his body killing him instantly. No blame is attached to the driver of the car who was fully exonerated by the sheriff and bystanders. It was one of those dreadful occurrences which are bound to happen in these days of motor travel and no one can be held responsible for it. The Strong lad was about 8 years of age and was on his way home from school when the accident happened.
