He had such command and presence in his voice and when he was onstage he truly demanded respect and got it.
He died of a heart condition at the age of 23, collapsing in his the arms of his best friend.
As his father Wayne said at his memorial service, "To have the last thing you see on this earth, be your best friend and the people who love you...I can't think of a better way to go."

Mr. Bledsoe was the brother of Rylan Bledsoe and Lauren Bledsoe; grandson to Gaye Marie Vandergriff and the late H.C. Vandergriff, the late Robert Bledsoe, the late Nancy Stevens and the late Richard Stevens; great-grandson to Margaret Lucille Nicely; nephew of Carolyn Stevens, Mary and David Cobb, Kath and Mike LaMance and the late Robin Bledsoe Crawford and Vic Crawford; and son-in-law to Tim and Della Pierce and brother-in-law to Sara Pierce.
