Mary J. McCallum, 76, of Bird-in-Hand, PA, and formerly of Kalamazoo, MI, passed away Monday, December 13, 2010, at Hospice of Lancaster County.
Born January 1, 1934, in Holland, MI, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Jennifer Meppelink.
She was a member of the Bellevue Presbyterian Church in Gap, PA. Mary loved knitting, reading, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Surviving are her husband, Gordon McCallum of Bird-in-Hand; her children, Kathryn McCallum of Los Angeles, CA, Carole McEdwards of Lancaster, Fred McCallum of Exton, Don McCallum of Lexington, KY, and Todd McCallum of Reading; and 9 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Meppelink, Jr. and Robert Meppelink.
A memorial service will be held Monday, December 20th, 2010, 11:00am, at Bellevue Presbyterian Church, 810 Newport Avenue, Gap, PA, 17527.
