CHARLOTTE WARE-STEPHENS was born on 5 January 1816 in Georgia to Mr. Ware & Lucy (Unknown)-Ware.

Charlotte married Alfred Olen Stephens circa 1835 in Georgia, and they had FIVE children of record:

Elizabeth Stephens (1836 - ?),
George Stephens (1837 - ?),
Martha J. Stephens-Reneau (1941 - 1908),
Julia A. Stephens-Ransom (1842 - 1907), and
John S. Stephens (1846 - 1821).

After Alfred's Sister-in-Law, Charity Watson-Stephens passed away in 1861, and Alfred's brother Soloman Stephens passed away in 1866, Alfred & his wife Charlotte adopted Solomon & Charity's youngest THREE children and raised them as their own:
