Clayton E. "Clay" DuVall, 33, of Parsons, died Friday afternoon, December 10, 2010, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

He was born October 2, 1977, in Parsons, Kansas, to William Thomas and Carolyn (Whittley) DuVall. He grew up and attended schools in Parsons and was a 1996 graduate of Labette County High School in Altamont. Through the years he worked at TecTank, the City of Parsons, and most recently Tank Connections until becoming ill.

He was a member of the Elks – BPOE Lodge No. 527 in Parsons. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on trucks, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He adored his two daughters and especially enjoyed spending time with them and attending their activities.

He and Kelly Middleton were married October 12, 1996, in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by: Two Daughters – Shelby and Avery DuVall of the home Mother and Stepfather – Carolyn and Roy Housley Parsons, KS Six Brothers – Mike Kendall and wife, JoBeth Parsons, KS Calvin Kendall and wife, Gina Galesburg, KS Travis Kendall and wife, Adrianne Parsons, KS Shane Thomas Iola, KS Tony Housley and wife, Angel Parsons, KS Richie Housley and wife, Jessica Parsons, KS One Sister – Michelle Kellogg and husband, Rocky Cherryvale, KS Step-grandmother – Susie Wimp Parsons, KS In-Laws – Randy Middleton and wife, Gina Oswego, KS Jennifer Pool and husband, Jarod Parsons, KS Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends

He was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas "Tom" DuVall; and two brothers, William Kenneth "Kenny" DuVall and William Thomas "T" DuVall.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.



Memorials are suggested to an educational fund for his daughters. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.
