Born about 1812. Married #1-Elizabeth Gibony (b VA). They are believed to have had: (1) John Lee Goldsberry, b 15 Mar 1844 in Pilot Grove Twp., Hancock Co., IL, marr. Sarah Elizabeth Knowles; (2) George Henry Goldsberry, b 23 Aug 1847 Pilot Grove Twp., Hancock Co., IL, marr. Ruth C. Freeman; & (3) Edward Goldsberry.
Married #2-Isabella (Rigg) Fletcher 14 Oct 1860. Per 1860 Marshall Co., KS census she was a servant born in England.
Resided at Blue Rapids, near Maysville, Marshall Co., KS as of Aug 1860.

Aug 7, 2021: There is a new marker for wife...and others (N39 42.765 x W96 21.175). Looked carefully around this one but didn't see one for him...there are many hard-to-read (weathered) markers, broken ones and missing ones any one of which could be his.

Gravesite Details

It is not proven he is buried here, but he did own lots in this cemetery (Lot 2, Blk 4) and his mother and half-sister are buried here. See notation in bio section. No marker found as of Aug. 2021.
