Funeral service for Ann Skipworth age 74 of Priceville will be Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 1:30 pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rusty Hodges officiating with burial in the New Friendship Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 9:00pm Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Skipworth went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at her home. She was born July 27, 1936 to Frank Burns Jr. and Lillie Mae Butler Burns. She worked for Wal Mart in Decatur for 32 years, retiring in 2000. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family and tending to their needs as well as her Church family and Friends needs. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother; Jerry Burns. She was a devoted Christian woman and was a lifelong member of the Rural Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband; Joe Skipworth of Priceville, by three daughters; Pam Riddle of Hartselle, Donna Howard and her husband Clint of Decatur and by Cindy Tapscott and her husband Paul Wayne of Hartselle. Seven Grandchildren, Josh Riddle, Joey Strickland, April Linville, Andrew Howard, Chase Howard, Amanda Tapscott and Hunter Tapscott. Three Great Grandchildren; Conner Strickland, Caitlin Strickland and Marcus Turney. Dewey Alsbrooks, Jim Cochran Jr., Sonny Westmoreland, Johnny Burns, Anthony Burns and Ray Glenn will serve as pallbearers
