JOSEPH E. AUERWECK, for 35 years an employee of Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Company, died yesterday at his home, 1878 Ivanhoe Court. He was 57. At the time of his death he was the company's desk-test foreman. Mr. Auerweck was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and of the telephone company's Pioneer Club. The club is composed of persons who have worked 25 years or more for the company. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Catherine Auerweck; two daughters, Miss Marietta Auerweck and Mrs. Jo Ann Wells; a brother, Raymond A. Auerweck; two sisters, Sister Mary Barbara of St. Helen;s Church, Shively; and Sister Mary Anita, North Platte, Neb. Both are Ursuline nuns. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 8:15 a.m. from Ratterman's Funeral Home, 2114 W. Market, and at 9 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Market St. Funeral Friday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Francis of Assisi Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
