Recruited by Francis Peyton in 1919 to be the company doctor for ASARCO (copper mine and refinery) in Aguascalientes, Mexico, Dr. Galloway moved there with wife and first three children, Harry, Irene and Ruth. Four more children were born in Mexico, Bill, Mary, Jayne and Ralph where Dr. Galloway built a thriving practice doing everything from plastic surgery to brain surgery while delivering thousands of babies. He was an accomplished tennis player and won the Mexican National tournament in the 1920's. Eventually he brought the whole family back to Texas and settled in San Antonio. Dr. Galloway was Head of Obstetrics at Santa Rosa Hospital for many years, again delivering many San Antonio babies through the 40's, 50's and 60's. He was still practicing medicine after he turned 80 years old. He died in 1976 at the age of 88.
