Mary Beth Elledge, age 69, of Alvin, Texas passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Triumph Hospital of Clear Lake, Webster, Texas. Mary Beth was born on August 31, 1941 in Fort Davis, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Doris Van Pelt.

Mary Beth is survived by her husband, Marshall Elledge, Jr.; daughter, Jamie Bruening and husband Scott; stepson, Ronnie Elledge and wife Melody; sisters, Carole Ann Herrera and husband Javier, Janet Joy Hogue, and Sherry Jean Van Pelt; brother, James Herman Van Pelt and wife Mary; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Scott Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Scott Funeral Home. Interment followed at Forest Park East Cemetery, Webster, Texas.
