She was born August 14, 1919, in Germany. She was naturalized as a United States citizen on June 14, 1954, in Freehold, New Jersey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Norman Truslow; a daughter, Barbara Gilley; and a grandson, Matthew Truslow.
Survivors include two daughters, Doris Pinnick and Margaret Herr, both of Las Vegas; three grandchildren, David Truslow of Waynesboro, Jennifer Carey and her husband, Robert, of Virginia Beach, and Marcus Gilley of San Diego; and three great -grandchildren, Meghan Truslow, Hannah Truslow and Benjamin Carey.
