LORIS _ Mary Shelley Duncan of Loris died Sunday, April 18, 1999, at Loris Community Hospital after an illness. She was born in Wampee, a daughter of the late Roshier Shelley and Minnie Cooper Shelley. She was the widow of A. J. Duncan. Mrs. Duncan was a homemaker and member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Buster Shelley and his wife, Jeanwood, of Conway, and Bryan Duncan of Loris; five daughters, Carol Borger and her husband, Elmer, of Myrtle Beach, Myron Herring and her husband, Russell, Sandra Campbell and her husband, Malcolm, all of Loris, Alice Collins and her husband, C.R., of Nichols, and Donna Arnette and her husband, Wilbur, of Wilmington, NC; two brothers, Jackie Shelley and Ronald Shelley, both of Conway; a sister, Marie Graham, of Conway; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Hardwick Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Hardwick Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Allan Nichols and Earl Spivey will officiate. Entombment will be at Twin City Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
