Robert J. "Bob" Picard, age 86, passed away on February 28, 2007. Bob is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bertie; four children, Barbara (Ken) Morring, Larry (Judy) Picard, Peter Picard, and Mark (Sandy) Picard; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Marguerite (Erv) Narasky; and a brother, Bill (Mary Jane) Duguay. He was preceded in death by two brothers, and two sisters. Bob was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II; he retired from Muskegon Piston Ring after 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, where a Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 2, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, today from 4 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Greater Muskegon Catholic Schools Foundation.
