Michael Earl Tickler, 57, of Stevensville, formerly of Damascus, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at home.

Born Jan. 21, 1953, in Ypsilanti, Mich., he was the son of Earl Michael Tickler and the late Ida Minnie Tickler.

He was the husband of Paula Lisa Casalena Tickler.

He was employed as a senior project manager at Lockheed Martin in Virginia. He attended St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Stevensville and was a member of the local Elks Lodge. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoyed fishing, boating, crabbing and horseshoes.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children Matthew Tickler, of Chestertown, and Lisa and Jerry Hyatt, of Damascus; grandchildren Elizabeth and Payton Hyatt; and sisters Iris Gunning, of Hampstead, Karen Tickler, of Baltimore, and Donna Tehansky, of Schamburg, Ill.

Interment at All Souls Cemetery in Germantown.
