Linda L. Thomson, 62, Englewood, died Sept. 17, 2002. She was born Aug. 8, 1940, in Lake Geneva, Wis., and came to Englewood in 1995 from Danville, Ill.

She was a secretary for the University of Illinois and a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and the Audubon Society, both in Danville. She was a member of the Venice Church of the Nazarene and a past member of First Church of the Nazarene in Danville.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald; daughters Jillanne Richardson and Amanda Mathis, both of Danville; a son, Sgt. Thomas Pearson of Fort Lewis, Wash.; and five grandchildren.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel.

Services and burial will be in Danville.

Linda L. Thomson, 62, of Englewood, Fla., formerly of Danville, died at 8:14 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 17, 2002) at Englewood Community Hospital, Englewood, Fla.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville. The Rev. Jerry Short will officiate.

Burial will be in Danville National Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
