According to the WILBER FAMILY TREE book, Samuel Damon [sic-as I have not found any documentation of a middle name]~LFR Wilber and Amanda Avaline [sic-Eveline] Lonsberry were married, Feb.02, 1820, in Connecticut. While living in Connecticut, the first two children were born: Samuel Damon Wilber, Jr., (04/11/1821) and Edwin Ruthvin Wilber, (09/05/1822). Sometime between 1822 and 1825, the Wilbur family removed to New York, where the last three children were born: William Mason Wilber (10/12/1825), Ashel H. Wilber (01/17/1829), and Nathan Palmer Wilber (02/03/1833).
In the notes field for Samuel Damon Wilber, Jr., the book further states that the entire Wilber family removed to the Town of Trempealeau, Wisconsin arriving on July 02, 1857. Apparently they camped out for several weeks in Centerville, a near by town, until land was secured for the homestead in Tamarack, Wisconsin.
