Our loving, sweet mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother passed away Dec. 13, 2010, at the age of 84 in Layton, Utah of heart failure.

Lillie was born Dec. 14, 1925, minutes before her identical twin sister, Lillian Albie, to Elsie Alberta Glenn Knight and Charles LeRoy Knight in Randlett, Utah. She was married to Franklin Blaine Richards on March 16, 1946. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple in 1947.

Surviving are four children: Sandra R. Neel (Glen), Kelly Blaine (Denise), Kerry Wayne (Johanna) and Ronald K (Donna), 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. She was the last surviving sibling in the Knight family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, parents, sisters and brothers: Vera Harder, Glen, Mildred Maynard, Harvey, Clifta Johnson, and Lillian Lewis; also a grandson Brian Albert Zuech.

Mom was a faithful member of the LDS Church and held many positions as teacher, mentor, and leader. She was active in the Scouting program with her sons, a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and served a mission in the Washington DC Temple. She was an avid quilter, seamstress, and crafter. She reared her children in Rock Springs, WY and was always there for her family, friends, and relatives and will be dearly missed.

Special thanks to Utah Hospice and especially to the staff of Family Tree of Morgan for their tender, loving care of our mother the last 18 months.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Kamas Ward Chapel, 100 West Center Street, Kamas, UT. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment, Marion Cemetery. Send condolences to the family at www.walker-mortuary.com
