He was married to Peggy Jean Bettis on July 31, 1987, in Jacksonville. She survives.
Also surviving are a brother, Robert Todd of of Jacksonville; seven sisters, Mrs. Richard (Rosie) Hoots of Winchester, Mrs. Roy (JoAnn) Wright of White Hall, Mrs. Bill (Martha) Coats of Streator, and Karen Sue Proctor, Mrs. Herb (Donna) Woods, Mrs. Virgil (Sandy) Martin, Mrs. Allen (Joyce) White, all of Jacksonville; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Services were 2 PM Sunday at William Funeral Home with burial in Diamond Grove Cemetery.
