Died, at his home in Lake township on Friday night, of
enlargement of the heart, Alfred Farmer aged 58 years.
Deceased was born in Berkshire, England, and came to this
county in 1852. He was one of the pioneer settlers of Lake
twp., having lived there for 28 years. He leaves seven
children two brothers and one sister to mourn his loss. Mr.
Farmer was a charter member of the Evangelical church of
Millbury, and the funeral services conducted by the Rev.
Berger, were very largely attended. The remains were buried
in Oregon cemetery beside those of his wife who died three
years ago.
