Frederick Jackson Bough married Cynthia A. M. Clark on Dec 22, 1870 (copy of marriage license included) They had five children: Thomas Jackson Bough, John D. Bough, Mary Paralee Bough, Samuel Houston Baker Bough and Amanda Ellen Bough. They apparently divorced but I have not been able to find any documentation of their divorce.
Frederick married his second wife, Mary Jane Kirkendoll, on January 19, 1890 (copy of marriage license included). According to family members they had six children, but I have not been able to find documentation on all of them. Only three of them lived to adulthood (see photo attached): Claud Homer Bough, Clara Edith Bough, and Rosa Lee Bough. This family is found in the 1900 and 1910 Federal Census of Cedar County, Missouri. Frederick and Mary apparently divorced as well. I have found records of both of Fredericks's marriages but neither of his divorces.
Mary Jane (Kirkendoll) Bough moved to Arkansas and married a second time to Jesse P. McClain, the son of J.N. (James or John Newton McClain "Newt") and Mary Magdalene (Byrum) McClain. All four of these names show up in Steep Hill Cemetery near Ft. Smith, Arkansas. The photos of their headstones on Find-A-Grave match the photos that I have which were taken by family members many years ago. Frederick Jackson Bough is buried in Arcola, Missouri.
