When things were down, I could depend on Randy to hang out with me a little and cut up...just to make me feel a little better.
Randy pushed me into my first mosh pit. Me, in all my 5"2' glory. I got pretty badly bruised, but honestly - I'm glad he did it. It was an absolute rush and if Randy never pushed me into the pit...I probably would have never done it.
I just found out via the SLS myspace page that he has passed of an apparent asthma attack in his sleep. My heart and prayers goes out to Patrick, James, and the rest of the family. Randy was really an awesome, one of a kind guy. And although it's been years since I've seen him or anyone from the SLS family, he remained in my thoughts and this all sucks just the same.
Randy, thank you for making my time in the SLS family so fun.
You will be missed.
