COLUMBIA (Special) — Funeral services for Azier [sic Azor] Fisher, 74, of Rt. 1, Columbia, were held at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church here with the Revs. Jimmy Bolton, T. O. Arrington and J. D. Kitchingham officiating.

Burial was in Fellowship Cemetery here under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.

Mr. Fisher, a member of the Caldwell Parish School Board and a retired farmer, died early Sunday in Columbia Heights Hospital here after a long illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mattie C. Fisher, Columbia; four daughters, Mrs. Viola Braddock and Mrs. Cardia [sic Cordia] Lee Byrd, both of Monroe, Mrs. Ruby Evelyn Rucker of Columbia, and Mrs. Mattie M. Bannister of Houston, Tex.; four sons, Harmon A. Fisher of Fanke, Ark., Odia Fisher, Odean Fisher and Marshall Fisher, all of Columbia; three brothers, Thomas Fisher and Quinton Fisher, both of Columbia, and Sherman Fisher of Shreveport; five sisters, Mrs. Webb Smith, Hebert, Mrs. Lula Rester, Mrs. Lois Nichols, [Mrs.] Fluitt Volentine and Mrs. Cyrus Chapman, all of Columbia.

Pallbearers were James Cook Jr., O. L. Rucker, Pete Lowery, Jerry Cooper, Eddie McClary, James Mott, Peyton Coates and Tillman Gregory.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Caldwell Parish School Board.
