Last Rites Held Wednesday For Charles F. Fauss
Charles F. Fauss, 76, a lifelong resident of Hooper, and member of a pioneer family, passed away Sunday morning after an illness of about two years. He was born January 25, 1875, northeast of Hooper, the son of pioneer parents.

The body lay in state at the Wollmer & Warne Funeral Home from 7 to 9 o'clock Tuesday evening. The funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Funeral Home, and at 2 o'clock at the Evangelical United Brethren church in Winslow, with Rev. Harvey Schwab in charge.

Mr. Fauss was married to Lizzie Edelman on Febr. 16, 1899 and they celebrated their golden wedding in 1949. They were parents of four children, all of whom survive. The family lived on a farm in Washington county, when they moved to Hooper and made this their home.

He is survived by his widow; two sons and two daughters, Mrs. A. W. Sohl of Lincoln; Donald C. Fauss, Wahepton N. Dak.; Mrs. Lloyd Packer, Bushton, Kans.; Lloyd C. Fauss, Lincoln; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three brothers, Dan of Nickerson Otto of Winslow and Jacob M. of Hooper, and six sisters, the Misses Rosa, Mary Martha and Kathryn, Mrs. Albert Marks and Mrs. Harry Marks, all of Winslow. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
