C. M. Galloway Funeral Tuesday

Charlie M. Galloway, a retired Anderson County farmer, died in Memorial Hospital at 10:45 a.m. today following an illness. He was 76.

Funeral services have been set for 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Montalba Baptist Church with the Rev. Archie Lyle officiating. Burial will follow in the Holly Springs Cemetery near Montalba.

Pallbearers will be John Douglass, Roger Douglass, Alphus Taylor, Alvin Taylor, Tommy Jackson and Willard Neal, all nephews of Mr. Galloway.

Mr. Galloway is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ella Mae Galloway of Montalba; two sons, Walter H. Galloway and Erwin M. Galloway, both of Montalba; a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Woolverton of Palestine; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Taylor and Mrs. Gussie Hathcock, both of Palestine; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The body will lie in state at Hassell & Foster Funeral Home here prior to being taken to the church for last rites.
