James Alonzo Felts is the son William Enoch Felts and C. (or Nancy) Alice Ansley. He married Rossie Nancy Barksdale on May 26, 1890 in Hillsborough County, Florida. She died January 16, 1901. He married Malinda Idell Prince on March 26, 1905 in Lee County, Alabama.
