Charleston Girl Weds Mattoon Man
Mattoon-The home of Mr and Mrs Frank Blagg, south of Charleston, was the scene of a pretty wedding when their daughter, Miss Martha Blagg and Winfred Andrews were married at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the presence of relatives and friends.
The best man was Warren Andrews, brother of the bridegroom and the maid of honor was Miss Pauline Blagg, sister of the bride. The home was decorated with ferns and spring flowers.
Following congratulations a luncheon was served, the bride's cake being the centerpiece for the table. The bride wore a gown of tan flat crepe and carried roses and sweet peas. Her sister wore a gown of flat crepe and carried sweet peas and roses.
Mrs. Andrews is a daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Blagg, south of Charleston and is a graduate of the Charleston High School. Mr. Andrews is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Andrews, 1000 South Sixteenth Street, Mattoon. He is a graduate of Mattoon High School class of 1928 and is engaged in farming near Neoga, where they went following their marriage. Later, they will take a honeymoon trip to New Orleans.
