She passed away July 2, 2008 in her home in Magazine, Arkansas. Vera was retied from the Today's Kids Toy manufacturing plant in Booneville. She was a member of the Eastwood Baptist Church in Booneville. She enjoyed fishing sewing, camping, traveling, gardening, and the outdoors. She is preceded in death by her husbands Ray Barcus and Willie Thurman Harbour. Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday July 5, 2008 at the Eastwood Baptist Church in Booneville, with burial in Ellington Cemetery near Magazine, Arkansas, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home. She is survived by: Four Daughters: Willive LaRue and husband Carroll of Booneville, Linda Ann Skains of Charleston, Arkansas, Brenda Elmore and husband Oran of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Pat Holt and Husband Jeff of Russellville, Arkansas. Three Sons: James M. Harbour and wife Barbara of Dover, Arkansas, John Harbour and wife Betty of Booneville, Arkansas, Thurman Harbour and wife Nicie of Magazine, Arkansas. 23 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 23 great great grandchildren, 3 great great great grandchildren.
