Deceased Came To This County At An Early Age and came with Her Parents From Ohio to Clay County about 50 years ago. Funeral will be held Sunday. Anna Margaret DIERDORF, wife of Conrad DIERDORF, passed away at the home at 616 South Forest Avenue, of diabetes, at the age of 71 years, 5 months and 22 days. The deceased had been in poor health for some time, but was only taken seriously ill a few days ago.
The deceased was born in Germany but was brought to this country, by her parents when she was a small child.
They settled in Tuscarawas County, OH, but a few years later came to Indiana and settled in Jackson township to
live on a farm in Jackson Township until a few years ago when they moved to this city. The deceased was a woman of many excellent qualities who was loved by all who knew her, and leaves behind a host of friends to mourn her death. She is survived by her aged husband, 2 sons and 4 daughters: Peter & Will DIERDORF, south of the city; Mrs. Elizabeth Young, of Andres, IN, Mrs. Anna Mueller of Torr Hill, IL, Mrs. Wm Redenbacher, south of city and Mrs. John Reed of Clay City.
She is also survived by 3 brothers
Conrad Koehler of this city, Chris Koehler of Center Point, J.P. Koehler of Rochester, KS. Short services will be held at the residence at 1 pm Sunday and the regular services will be held at Stearleyville by Rev. Huckriede, interment in cemetery near the church.
