Ricky Wells, 51, New Albany, died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
Born Oct. 22, 1959, in Marion County, he was the son of Edna Mae Brown Wells of New Albany and the late Richard Wells.
He was a boilermaker and a member of Boilermaker Local No. 40 in Elizabethtown, Ky.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Rocky Wells.
Survivors besides his mother include his wife, the former Donna J. Payton; four children, Matthew Wells of Leavenworth, Brad Terry of Sellersburg and Laci and Joshua Wells, both of New Albany; two sisters, Shelia Goss of Georgetown and Regina Wells of New Albany; and four grandchildren.
Visitation: Sunday, Dec. 12, from noon to 8 p.m. at Kraft Funeral Services in New Albany.
Funeral: Monday, Dec. 13, at noon at the funeral home with private burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
