Williams, Alice C. Mrs. 60 years and 2 months old wife of Jacob Williams of Wythe County VA died 7/11/1901 of cancer and typhoid fever. She was preceded in death by her brother and sister and was survived by husband, 5 sons and 3 daughters. Burial was in St. John's E. L. Church Cemetery. Lutheran Visitor 7/25/1901, page 11
