Della Lavonne Frazier, age 75, went home to be with the LORD on December 10, 2010, in Huntsville, Texas. She was born March 29, 1935 in Cut and Shoot, Texas, to Otha and Agnes Miller.
Lavonne married Charles S. Frazier of Pasadena, Texas, on August 13, 1960, and they recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. She was a school teacher for 30 years. An active member of University Heights Baptist Church in Huntsville, Lavonne was highly respected for her love of Jesus, her giving and helping nature, and her very positive and encouraging attitude, even in her last three years with cancer. She was a long time member of Bible Study Fellowship International.
Visitation hours will be Monday, Dec. 13, from 5:00-8:00pm at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville. Funeral service will be Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 10:00am at University Heights Baptist Church in Huntsville. Graveside service will follow at 2:00pm at New Bethlehem Church in Cut and Shoot. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to University Heights Baptist Church in Huntsville.
