Wife of Master Sergeant Claude Elmer Bates, Jr.

Below is the obituary for a LaRue Parkinson Nielson Bates, which due to the similiarity of names and birth/death dates, seems to fit the time period of being the wife of Claude Elmer Bates. However, many people dispute that this obituary is of the correct woman, in that it clearly indicates that she is married to only Vane Quentin Bates. It is unclear what the relationship was between Vane and Claude Bates.
