Harry F. Leibenguth, 87, of 1529 Turner St., Allentown, an overseer at the former Anewalt Bros., hatters and furriers, 615 Hamilton St., Allentown, until retiring 38 years ago, died Thursday at home. He was the husband of Carrie (Yarbrough) Leibenguth. He was in the grocery business in the vicinity of 12th and Linden streets, Allentown for many years. Leibenguth was a tenor with the Bach Choir for 18 years. He was a life member of the Lehigh Township Fire Co., and Greenleaf Lodge F&AM of Allentown. Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Charles P. and Caroline (Newhard) Leibenguth. He was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Indianland. Surviving besides his widow is a sister Mrs. Jennie Henry of Walnutport R.2. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton. There will be a calling hour at 10 a.m. Monday.
