First wife named Faye Edith Viola Quaid. There first born was unnamed baby girl buried in Cloudy OK cemetery. They were married in 1935 and the unnamed baby was born in 1936. They had three childern Lloyd born in Falbrook Cal. 1938, Eris Gay born 1948, Lurlene Venite born 1952. Lurlene married Joe Mills. Ernest and Faye moved to Falbrook CA in 1937, Ernest became a Orchardist there and worked part time where he learned the carpentry trade. 1942 they moved to Vista Ca . In 1942 they moved back to Cloudy Ok and bought a 180 acre farm. They raised peanuts, corn, hay and made bootlegged whiskey. In 1952 Ernie and Faye separated. Ernest moved back to California and married Gertrude(Trudy)on 21 June 1968 in Carson City Nevada. After married they first lived in Escondido,CA then moved to Marysville,California for a number of years. From there they moved to Valley Center, San Diego County, CA where they lived until his death. I had the privlege of meeting Uncle Ernie and Trudy, they loved having family visitors and were the most hospitable people I ever met. The picture of Ernie on this page was taken during my visit in 1999 and I was actually sitting next to him.
