The headstone has a variant spelling of Cook with an 'e' at the end, thus 'Cooke'.
There's some discrepancy regarding the birthplace of David Cook. His Pension Papers from the War of 1812 state that he was born in Maryland, while his children respond to Census enumerators that their father was born in Virginia.

First David Cook and Ruth McClung were married on December 20, 1810 in Fairfield County, Ohio.

The known children of David and Ruth are John, Seth, and Reuben Cook.

Let me know if you are descended through David and Ruth.

Second widower David Cook and widow Catherine Sherwood were married on February 05, 1835 in the County of Delaware.
They have two known children: Melita and Justice Cook.

David Cook served under the Command of Captain Robert Reid in Captain Robert Reid's Rifle Company of Ohio Militia in the service of the United States in the War of 1812 against Great Britain. He served from July 28, 1813 until September 05, 1813. He is described, in the War of 1812 Pension Application of his widow Catherine, as being a farmer who previously resided in Maryland. His physical description is given by Catherine as being 5'10" tall with dark hair and blue eyes.
