Luther Madison Gore, 56, of the Langston Heights subdivision in Conway died March 20, 1963. Mr. Gore was born March 26, 1906, a son of Mrs. Addie Todd Gore and the late James Owen Gore. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He lived and farmed in the Horry section until 1951 and since that time had live in the Langston Heights section where he followed the occupation of carpenter and painter. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lillie Stalvey Gore, Rt. 1 Conway; two sons Winfred Gore, Conway, Luther M. (Shorty) Gore Jr., Fayetteville NC; one daughter Mrs. Ralph (Alice) Collins Rt. 5 Conway; his mother, Mrs. Addie Todd Gore, Rt. 5 Conway; three brothers Sam Gore, Myrtle Beach, Bert Gore Rt. 5 Conway, Jim Gore, Conway; two sisters Mrs. Catherine Graham, Rt. 3 Conway, Mrs. Edna Gilham, Columbia; two half brothers Mason Stalvey Jr., Robert Stalvey; one half sister Miss Wilma Stalvey, and seven grandchildren.
