Neal D. Martin leader of the 4H Sheep Club at Hamilton, ND in about 1928. Members at the time were: Dwight Connel, Andy Enerson, Neal Enerson, Forest Dalles, Frances Dalles, J.B. Martin, Ray C. Martin, Robert "Bob" O'Hara, Ray Mahar, Ralph Smillie, Ronald Fuller, Roscoe Wright, Orville Yeiter, Douglas Park.

He was a Master Mason and a member of the Kem Shrine, A.A.O.N.M.S. in Grand Forks, ND. There is a plaque on the wall in the Grand Forks Masonic Center with his name on it. The plaque lists all of the Kem Shriners who went to WWI.

He was an avid motorcyclist and rode Indian motorcycles. One time, he rode all the way from southern Illinois to Hamilton, ND riding between the railroad tracks and spent his nights in grain elevators along the way.

He married Florence Louise Miller at the G. W. Miller home, Hamilton, ND July 6, 1920.
