Mrs. Minnie Prather

ODESSA Sept. 13 — Mrs. Minnie Alice Prather, 54, of Odessa, died Sunday morning following a one-week Illness.


Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the Hubbard Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. B. E. Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens at Odessa.


She was married to A. B. Prather July 16, 1916, in Anson and the couple moved to Ector County in 1839. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God.


Survivors include her husband; one daughter Mrs. Ray Bodine of Odessa; four sons, Kenneth Prather of Odessa, Brad Prather of Carlsbad, Lewis Prather of Kermit, and Cpl. Eugene Prather of Camp Chaffee, Ark; one sister, Mrs. J. H. Kimbrough of Odessa; six brothers, Guy and Gordon Jones of California, J. D. Jones of Pauls Valley, Okla.; Dalton Jones of Abilene, Buster Jones of Montana and Ford Mac Jones of Houston and five grandchildren.
