James L. Burk aged 66, died at 9:30 last night at his home 1004 Cowarts street following a lingering illness. He is survived by his wife, five sons; William, James, John, Warren and Riley' and five daughters Misses Oma releford, Eddie Hood, Maggie Murray and Addie Lawson Burk. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3 from the residence. The Rev. J.L. Scott officiaing. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.
