Marilyn Kellogg, 73, of Great Bend died Wednesday at Cheyenne Meadows Living Center in Hosington. She was born Jan.10, 1933, at Radium, the daughter of Willie Green and Aurice Parrish Estes. She married Eugene Deckert on June 13, 1948, in Radium. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1976. She married Everett Kellogg on Feb. 2, 1979, in Spearville. He preceded her in death on Aug. 21 1998. She was a homemaker and resident of Great Bend since 1999, moving from Harilingen, Texas. Mrs. Kellogg was a member of the First Christian Church in Great Bend, and a member of the Radium Rangers Senior Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Trudy Winsor of Caney, and Donna Spencer of Mesa, Ariz.; one step-daughter Veanna
Rousseau of Auburn; one brother Glen Estes of Sherwood, Ariz.; two sisters Orva Jean Oehler, of Elfers, Fla., and Dolores Crawford, of Hoisington; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and five step-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by two half-brothers Even B. Estes and Ray Estes; one sister Carol Moore, and two half- sisters Hazel Barstow, and Opal Brannan.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on May 1 at the church with the Rev. William F. Johnson presiding. Burial will follow at the Bergthall Mennonite Cemetery in Pawnee Rock. There will be no visitation, as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the Radium Rangers Senior Center or Kans for Kids in care of the funeral home.
