"Levander M. Newbert
WALDOBORO – Levander M. Newbert, 89, a lifelong resident of North Waldoboro, died Tuesday at a Rockland hospital after a long illness.

He was born at Waldoboro August 31, 1876, the son of Moses and Esther (Jameson) Newbert.

He was a blueberry farmer, and attended the Methodist Church at North Waldoboro, and was a member of Maple Grange, North Waldoboro.

Surviving in addition to his widow, Mrs. Margaret (Robinson) Newbert are one daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Genther of Waldoboro; four step-sons, Clifford Robinson of Cumberland Center, Levi and Oren Robinson of Waldoboro; four step-daughters, Mrs. Flora Post of Rockland, Mrs. Bernys Jameson and Mrs. Geneva Eugley, both of Waldoboro, and Mrs. Lesa Derrah of Portland; two grandchildren; several step grandchildren and one niece.

Funeral services will be held at the Hall Funeral Home, Waldoboro, with the Rev. Royal brown officiating.

Interment will be in the Rural Cemetery, Waldoboro."
