Reburial services for Pvt. Maurice R. Brin, Jr., 28, killed in action on Iwo Jima, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the grave in Restland Memorial Park.

Brin will be buried in the family plot with the Rev. J. R. Montgomery of the East Dallas Christian Church officiating.

He had joined the Marine Corps in March 1944 and was serving with the 4th Marine Division at the time of his death, February 28, 1945. Brin was born in Atlanta, Georgia, graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, and attended the University of Texas and Southern Methodist University.

Surviving are his sons, Ronnie Brin and George Brin of Cleburne; his mother, Mrs. M. R. Brin; a sister, Mrs. H. F. Crocker; and his brother, Gordon Brin, Dallas.
