John R. Wiseman, 87, of 9621 Old Six Mile Lane, died at 5:18 p.m. Friday [June 13, 1969] at St. Joseph Infirmary. He was a retired rural mail carrier for the post office branch at Anchorage. Survivors include nine sons, Joseph R. Wiseman, San Antonio, TX, and James E., Raymond H., John A., Paul A., Charles D., William A., Patrick E. and Augustine F. Wiseman; 36 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Edward Catholic Church, 9608 Sue Helen Drive, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The body will be at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road, after 7 p.m. Saturday.
