Funeral services for Pat Ware Cox, 82, of Collinsville were held Jan. 24, 1984, at 10 am at Huff Chapel in Whitesboro. He died Jan. 22, 1984, at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman.
The Rev. F.E. Baughman and the Rev Mack Cox conducted the services.
Burial was at Mt. Zion, South Cemetery under the direction of Huff Funeral Home.
Mr. Cox was born Dec. 24, 1901, in Texas, the son of the Rev. Charlie and Polly Cox. He married Goldie Johnson on Sept. 13, 1924, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
He was a rancher and farmer and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include; his wife, Goldie Cox of Collinsville; three brothers, Ray Cox and Marion Cox, both of Collinsville, and Abe Cox of Houston; three sisters, Charlsie Kunkel and Lou Mordah of Mesquite, and Pearl Roberts of Amarillo.
Pallbearers were; Lewis Cox, Bill Roberts, Bud Mitchell, Mike Cox, Charles Earl Cox, and Randy Cox.
