Claris was born in Penn Lee, Virginia on June 5, 1928. She lived in Michigan for 42 years and moved back to Virginia for 9 years. She spent the last two years with her daughter in Grandview, Texas. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Jonesville, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman; parents, Clyde Emmet and Estie Edith Sprinkle; three brothers, one sister and an infant daughter.
Survived by: Son, Larry Warner and wife, Pam, Jonesville, VA . Daughters, Carolyn Suggs and husband, Donnie; Kathy Hodorowski and husband, Ron.
Grandchildren, Paul David, Scott Matthew, Joseph Daryl, Shane Michael, Ryan Matthew, and Ashley Kay; Great-grandchildren, Jordan, Austin, Katelynn, Madison and Kassidy.
Brothers, Samuel and Ronnie; Sisters, Loetta, Doris and Nancy.
Visitation will be 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Arney-Mullins Funeral Home in Jonesville. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Lee Memorial Gardens, Woodway, Virginia.
