Francis Marion Dalton, 80, 654 S. 7th East, died Dec. 29, 1970, at home of natural causes.

Born Nov. 26, 1890, Manassa, Colo., to Edward and Elizabeth Lizzania Warren Dalton. Married Mary Jane Hunter, June 23, 1913, Parowan. Retired state employee; member LDS church.

Survivors: widow; sons, daughters, Ross F., Bayville, N.J.; Randall H. (Jim), Mrs. L. E. (Dorothy) Hamilton, both Salt Lake City; Conrad H., Sandy; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; half-brother, half-sister, Charles F. Bentley, Parowan; Margarete Bentley, American Fork.

Funeral Saturday, noon, 255 S. 2nd East, where friends call Friday, 7-9 p.m., and Saturday before services. Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
