Marie Gilbert
Mrs. Marie Gilbert, 89, a resident of Plymouth's Pilgrim Manor, died there at 2:25 p.m., Thursday. Born April 8, 1896 at Marathon Wis. to Joseph and Antonia Tarant, she lived most of her life in Marshall County. Mrs. Gilbert was married November 25, 1945 at Knox to James M. Gilbert who preceded her in death May 6, 1964. Surviving are five children: Mrs. Loretta Berger, Plymouth; Mrs. Laurene Gunterman, Bremen; Ed and Richard Gilbert, both of Plymouth; and Don Gilbert, Frankfort; 18 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son Robert, and one daughter, Helen Platz. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Monday at Johnson's Funeral Home, Plymouth, with burial to follow at New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 till 4 and from 7 till 9 p.m., Sunday.
